Hey guys,
I decided to make a post about some of the wives tales that more clearly swing one way or the other for me. A majority of them are in between for me but I will post a few of the ones that I have noticed.
-A change in body temperature.
-Hot and sweaty = girl
-Cold and icy = boy
-Baby’s heart rate.
-Under 140 = boy
-Over 140 = girl
-Mood
-Happy/mellow = boy
- Moody = girl
-Swelling in legs and feet.
-Yes = boy
-No = girl
-Crazy pregnancy dreams.
-They say if you dream of a girl you will have a boy and if you dream of a boy you will have a girl. Fun fact, I have dreamt of both! (I am blaming this on the fact that I have maintained a neutral mindset and haven’t gotten a feel for if the baby is one or the other. Sometimes I feel boy vibes and other times I feel girl vibes. )
-Chinese gender chart.
- Boy
-Sleep sides.
-Right = girl
-Left = boy
-Carrying high or low.
- High = girl
- Low = boy
- I feel like I am carrying in the middle, but it’s also kind of hard for me to tell the difference.
-Carrying in front or on the sides.
- Front = boy
- Sides = girl
As far as cravings and morning sickness wives tales go, I haven’t really experienced any cravings and I didn’t really have morning sickness in the sense that I didn’t throw up much. If food aversions count as morning sickness though, then yes, I definitely had it!
This kind of leaves us in the same spot as before. I don’t know if it is that neutral mindset thing I mentioned earlier or what but they don’t give me any feelings one way or the other.
