34 Weeks and 1 Day

 Hey Guys, 

I feel like it has been a while. I am 34 weeks and 1 day today and honestly, don’t know where the time has gone! Every day time only gets faster and faster, it’s a trip. 

In the past few weeks we have been super busy trying to get ready for this sweet little ones arrival. I feel both prepared and unprepared as well as super excited but also nervous. For knowing a tiny bit what to expect there is so much that is left unknown and it is both exciting and frustrating, especially since I am a planner. 

Last week we had an appointment with a midwife just to check in and it went really well. I am right on track with where I should be and baby is already in a head down position so that is great, now they just need to stay that way :). I have another appointment in 2 weeks and from there they will be every week, alternating in person and virtual, until the baby is born. 

I have to say, overall I have felt pretty great the past few weeks. We were in San Diego a week and a half ago and it was 115 degrees so that was pretty awful but other than that everything has been going pretty smoothly so far! I feel extremely lucky and can’t wait to enjoy what is left in my pregnancy but also to meet our sweet babe.

The baby LOVES when Adam talks and sings to them. They go crazy moving around and just really enjoy hanging out with Dad. This past weekend we put together a playlist of some songs for the baby, made sure they were all appropriate and kid friendly since none of them are “kid songs”.  We want the baby to be cultured all around so if you have any good songs that you recommend, let us know!
